Document Description

30 Dollars Reward. Ranaway from the Subscriber, living on Bayou Boeuff, on Tuesday the 24th instant, a Negro Man named SIMON; from 35 to 40 years of age—of common stature—very black—He is a good rough house-carpenter—has a piece off one of his fingers, (I think the third finger of the right hand.) [sic] Simon was raised in South Carolina, and may probably attempt to make his way there—but it is most likely he will aim for New Orleans.—Any person who will deliver him to the Subscriber, on Bayou Boeuff, shall receive the above Reward—or if lodged in any Jail in State, or the State of Mississippi, shall be liberally rewarded, and all reasonable expenses paid. G. B. THOMAS Bayou Boeuff.
