Was committed as a runaway, to the Jail of Warren county, on the 24th instant, a likely negro man 23 years of age, 5 feet 11 inches high, stout and well made, has a scar on the left cheek, about an inch long, another close to the left ear and another small one on the back of the neck—Says his name is PETER SANDERS or ABRAHAM, and that he belongs to THOMAS MATTINGLY of Morgan town, Union county, Kentucky—The owner is requested to comply with the law and take him away.
