Document Description

Jail of Adams County. Was Committed to the Jail of Adams County, as a runaway, on the 28th of September inst. a negro man by the name of ISAAC—says he belongs to ESQUIRE HARDIN, living in Jefferson county—he is five feet, three inches high, about 19 or 20 years of age;—his clothing is a pair of striped twilled pantaloons, loose cotton shirt and blue linsey roundabout; says that his master purchased him from a man by the name of ISAAC MARDIN. The owner of the above boy is requested to comply with the law and take him away. R. H. MAY, Jailor. Natchez.
