State of Mississippi—Adams County Notice is hereby given, that by the virtue of the powers vested in me by law, and pursuant to the statute in such cases made and provided, I shall expose to public sale to the highest bidder, for ready money, at the door of the Court House of Adams County, between the hours of 11 A. M. and 4 P. M. of the day, on the first Monday in October next, A Negro Woman, Who calls herself NANCY, and who was committed to the Jail of Adams County, as a runaway, on the 17th of February last, and which said slave has not been claimed by any owner, within six months from her commitment—for prison and other fees.
