Document Description

Parish of Concordia, state of Louisiana. On the 12th instant, was committed to the jail of the said Parish, as a runaway, a negro man, named TOM about 24 or 25 years of age, five feet 8 or 9 inches high, a scar over the right eye, dark complexion, says he belongs to JOHN FADDIS of Louisville, Ky. [sic] The owner is requested to pay charges and take him out of jail. VINCENT LODER, Jailor. Vidalia.
