Document Description

Parish of Concordia, state of Louisiana. On the 12th instant, was committed to the jail of the said parish, as a runaway, a negro man named JIM, 21 or 22 years of age, five feet 8 or 10 inches high, dark complexion. Says he belongs to PHILIP SHEARWOOD, living near the Walnut Hills, in the state of Mississippi.—The owner is requested to pay charges and take him out of jail. VINCENT LODER, Jailor. Vidalia.
