Committed to the jail of Adams county, by Justice Boyer, as a runaway on the 14th of Sept. inst. a negro man by the name of HARRY, says that he belongs to R. M. GILL of Woodville, Wilkinson county, this man is about six feet high, his nose between his eyes is very much sunk, has a double tooth before, is about 32 or 33 years of age, has on a pair of blue cassimere pantaloons, woolsey coat and black silk vest. The owner of the above negro is requested to comply with the law, and take him out of jail. R. H. MAY, Jailor. Gum Jail near Washington.
