Was committed to the jail of Adams county, [torn] Tooley, Esq., on the 7th instant, as a runaway, a negro boy, by the name of DAVID, about 20 years of age, [torn] three inches high, has on a pair of linen pantaloons, a [torn] shirt, has an iron on each leg; he has the appearance [torn] smart boy; says he belongs to JOHN DAVIS, at Point [torn]. The owner of the above boy is requested to comply with the law and take him out of jail. R. H. MAY. Gum Jail, near Washington.
