Document Description

Ranaway from ALEXANDER DUGGINS living in Opelousas, La., about two years since, a grief [sic] colored negro man, named ANDREW LEE, but some times call himself ANDREW JAMES. He is about 26 years old, 5 feet 10 inches high, slim visage, thick under lip, and large eyes. Said negro was seen driving a dray in Natchez in May last, and it is supposed he is lurking about there at this time, or perhaps in Woodville. A reward of twenty dollars will be given for his delivery to the jail of Adams county, if taken in the county, and thirty dollars if taken out of it. WILLIAM C. COLLINS Natchez.
