Document Description

Twenty Dollars Reward. Ranaway from the subscriber, living in Natchez, this morning, a Negro girl, named WINNEY, aged 18 years, of light complexion, rather low stature, but well made, has a remarkable black mole on the left side of her nose near the eye, had on when she went away an old plaid dress, with a new body of the same kind, handkerchief on her head, she had on stockings but no shoes. I will give a reward of Twenty Dollars for the apprehension and securing of said girl in any jail without this county, so that I can get her again; or ten dollars if taken within this county, and all reasonable expences paid on delivering her her [sic] to me. It is probable she may have gone off with some white man, who will attempt to sell her on the coast or in N. Orleans. H. K. MOSS. Natchez,.
