Document Description

Ranaway from the plantation of the undersigned, on the Bayou Lafourche, a likely Mulatto Man [MAN], about 5 feet 9 inches high, 35 years old, speaks French and English, one of his ears is much smaller than the other, owing to cutting or some other cause. It is believed he will make for Kentucky as a person answering his description was seen some distance above Baton Rouge. A liberal reward, and all reasonable expenses will be paid if lodged in the jail of New Orleans, or any other, so that I get him again. H. S. THIBODAUX. New-Orleans.
