Ranaway from the Subscriber’s Plantation on the 6th December, in the morning, a quarteron slave, born in Carolina, named JAMES, speaks English and French, 5 feet 4 inches (French measure) [sic] high, with straight hair. He stammers principally when agitated by fear. The above reward will be paid to whomever shall deliver him to his master. MICHEL AIME. La.
