Document Description

Was committed to the jail of the Parish of Concordia, La. on the 3d instant, a mulatto man calling himself BILL, says he belongs to Mr. FIELDING COOK, living about three miles above the Petit Gulph [sic], Miss. said mulatto had on [torn] linen pantaloons and under shirt, white wool hat, is apparently about forty years of age. The owner of the above described negro, is requested to comply with the law and take him out of jail. W. F. D. HOLLIDAY, Jailor. Concordia.
