Was committed to the jail of the Parish of Concordia, on the 28th inst. as a runaway, a mulatrisse calling herself MARY or MAHALA—said girl is almost 22 years of age, and is dressed in check gingham, striped cotton handkerchief upon her head: prunella shoes, and has the appearance of a family servant. She says that she belongs to Mr. ZACHARIAH DORSEY. The owner is requested to comply with the law and take her out of jail. W. D. F. HOLLIDAY, Jailor of the Parish of Concordia.
