Document Description

Runaway In Jail. Was committed to the Jail of Adams county, on the 10th day of November, 1829, by James Carson, Esq., a negro man, who says his name is FRANK, about 25 years of age, 5 feet 7 or 8 inches high, of very dark complexion, has quite a remarkable scar under his lower lip, the whites of his eyes are of a yellow tinge, had on when committed check shirt and coarse linen pantaloons. Says he belongs to ISAAC SEAMORE, in New-Orleans. The owner of the above negro, is requested to comply with the law, and take him out of Jail. W. W. CALMES, Jailor.
