Runaway in Jail. Was committed to the Jail of Adams county by S. Postlethwaite, Esq. on the 18th day of Sept. 1830, a negro man calling himself JOHN FULTON, about 35 years of age, 5 feet 10 inches high, of a yellowish complexion, quite robust in his person, and has very high cheek bones. Said negro professes to be free; but has no pass or token whereby to be known as such. The owner of the above described negro (if any) [sic] is requested to comply with the law and take him out of Jail. W. W. CALMES, Jailor.
