Document Description

Was committed to the jail of Adams county, by H. Tooley, Esq. on the 3d of March 1832, a negro boy calling himself GEORGE, about 15 years of age, 5 feet high, of very dark complexion, has very large lips, stout made, and healthy appearance: had on a pair of fine blue cloth pantaloons, check shirt, and an old Marseilles vest. Said boy says he belongs to a Mr. LEWIS, of New-Orleans, whose given name he does not know. The owner of the above described negro is requested to comply with the law and take him out of jail. W. W.
