Was committed to the jail of Adams county by S. Postlethwaite, Esq. on the 26th of March, 1832, a negro boy calling himself JONES, and says he belongs to the estate of Mr. ALEXANDER of North Carolina; he is 5 feet 6 inches high, and about 25 years of age, very square and heavy made, and of remarkably dark complexion, full face and small eyes, had on roundabout and pantaloons of white Linsey, linen shirt and an old wool hat. The owner of the above described negro is requested to comply with the law and take him out of jail. W. W. CALMES, Jailor.
