Document Description

$300 Reward, Will be paid for the apprehension, dead or alive, of DANIEL, the wretch who waylaid and murdered his master, the late JOEL CAMERON, on Saturday last. Said negro is of the following description:—Five feet eleven inches high, black complexion, and heavy beard; has a much wider space between his upper front teeth than is common; the middle finger on his right hand has been broken at the first joint, and the end turns towards the little finger of that hand. He is intelligent, and tries to be very polite when spoken to. He is a Blacksmith by trade. Masters and owners of vessels are cautioned against taking him on board, under the penalties prescribed by law. A. G. McNUTT Vicksburg, Miss.
