Document Description

Was committed to the jail of Adams county on the 12th May 1832, by S. Postlethwaite Esq. a negro boy calling himself TOM, about 17 years of age, 5 feet high, and says he belongs to Mr. FILLIBERE of New Orleans; said negro is of very dark complexion, has very large projecting lips; had on check shirt and linen pantaloons. The owner of the above negro, is requested to comply with the law and take him out of jail. W. W. CALMES, Jailor. Natchez.
