Runaway in Jail. Was committed to the jail of Warren county on the 15th June, 1832, by James Cornell, J. P. in and for said county, a negro man who calls himself STEPHEN, and says he belongs to BAILEY ANDERSON on the Yazoo, near Liverpool, Mississippi. Said negro is five feet eleven and half inches high, dark complexion, about thirty years of age, had on when committed a domestic shirt and pantaloons. The owner is requested to come forward prove property, pay charges and take him out of jail, or he will be dealt with as the law directs. JAMES HALL, Jailer.
