Was committed to the jail of Adams county, by H. Tooley, Esq. on the 29th June, 1832, a negro man calling himself ALEXANDER, and says he belongs to JOHN STARK of Wilkinson county, Mi. Said negro is of very dark complexion, 5 feet 2 inches high, and about 30 years of age, stout made, had an old linen shirt and pantaloons, also a soldier’s cap. The owner of the above described negro is requested to comply with the law and take him out of jail. W. W. CALMES, Jailor. Natchez.
