Document Description

Twenty Dollars Reward. Ranaway from the plantation of the subscriber on the Homochitto, a negro man by the name of BILL. He is about 27 years of age; about 5 feet 9 inches high; very black, and middling stout and well set; when spoken to rather of stern countenance and slow spoken. I presume he has on a dark coat of thick sattinet. I dont [sic] recollect of any particular marks about him. The above reward will be paid for his delivery either at this place or the plantation, or secured in any jail so that I can get him. J. FOSTER. Natchez.
