Document Description

Was committed to the Jail of Adams county on the 9th September 1832, by C. Griffin, Esq. a negro woman who calls herself HENNY, and says she belongs to WILLIAM McCRORY of Wilkinson county, Mis near the Homochitto river. She is about twenty three years of age, five feet six inches high, of very dark complexion, slim made, she had on a check dress, with sundry other cloths in a bundle. The owner of the above described negro is requested to comply with the law and take her out of jail. W. W. CALMES, Jailor.
