Document Description

Was committed to the Jail of Adams County, on the 18th day of October, 1832, by Cyrus Griffin, Esq. a negro man calling himself HARRY, and says he belongs to a Mr. BOSTON, of New Orleans. He is 5 feet 3 1-2 inches high, and about 21 years of age, of moderately dark complexion, stout and square made; had on a drab roundabout and mixed casinet pantaloons, linnen [sic] shirt and an old fur hat. The owner of the above described negro is requested to comply with the law, and take him out of Jail. W. W. CALMES, Jailor. Natchez.
