Document Description

Was committed to the jail of Adams county, as a runaway, by C. Griffin, Esq. on the tenth of November 1832, a negro calling himself DENNIS, five feet nine inches high and about 21 years of age, and says he belongs to HARBIN MILLER on Lake Washington. He had on and with him sundry articles of Kentucky clothing; of rather light complexion; good countenance. The owner of the above described negro is requested to comply with the law and take him out of jail. W. W. CALMES, jailor.
