Was committed to the jail of Adams County on the 5th Dec. 1832, by C. Griffin, Esq. a negro boy who calls himself HENRY, and says he belongs to Mr. McCARTY near New-Orleans—said boy is 5 feet 5 inches high, and about 17 years of age, of very dark complexion, has a very keen sharp eye, and rather a thin visage, inclined to be spare in his person. Had on a pair of mixed casinet pantaloons, a cotton shirt, linnen roundabout and an old wool hat. The owner of the above negro is requested to comply with the law and take him out of jail. W. W.
