Document Description

Was committed to the Jail of Adams County, as a runaway by C. Griffin, Esq. on the 7th January 1833, a negro girl named FANNY, who says she belongs to Mr. PAUL LIGGING of New Orleans. She is the same girl who was taken out of said Jail by Paul Liggin [sic] last October, she is about 13 years of age, of very dark complexion. The owner of the above negro is requested to comply with the law and take her out of Jail. W. W. CALMES, Jailer.
