Document Description

Runaways in Jail Was committed to the Jail of Warren [county] on the 21st day of February, 1833, by [illegible] Mills, a justice of the peace in and for said cou[illegible] a negro boy who calls himself FRANK, and [says] he is the property of JOSHUA BOLDIN of New Or[illegible] he is 5 feet 6 inches high, rather of a yellow [illegible] about 26 of 28 years of age, had on a casinett [illegible] coat and pantaloons, and says he has been in [illegible] jail about 4 years ago and was taken out then [illegible] Mr. Bolden [sic]; the owner of said negro is requested [to] come forward, prove property, pay charges [illegible] take him out of jail, or he will be dealt with [illegible] the law directs.
