$50 Reward. Runaway from the subscriber living 13 miles North of Vicksburg, on the 10th of January, a negro fellow named JOHN, he is about 30 years old 5 feet 6 inches high, and very large, and of a yellow complexion, and his teeth is set very wide in his head, and has large eyes and large feet, said negro had on when he left him white linsey pantaloons, coarse-cotton shirt, and a black linsey roundabout and an old black fur hat, said negro has formerly belonged to CARSON PORTER, and it is supposed that he will aim to lie about Vicksburg. Any person apprehending him and delivering him to me or confine him in any jail so that I can get him again shall be entitled to the above reward. W. D. PARKER.
