Document Description

Ten Dollars Reward. Walk’d off from the subscriber some days ago a negro man named DICK, 28 or 29 years of age, 5 feet 9 or 10 inches high, stout and well made, full faced, and marked with the small pox—he always passes for a free man amongst strangers; he speaks English, French, and Spanish, and is supposed to have gone up to Point Coupee in a Batteau, or to Natchez. Whoever apprehends said negro, and delivers him to the subscriber in New Orleans, Mr. Hicky Batton Rouge, or to Mr. John C. Wickoff Natchez, shall receive the above reward, and all reasonable charges. WILLIAM WICKOFF.
