Document Description

Came to the subscriber’s house, in the Town of Washington, about the latter end of February last, an Old Negro Woman, about 55 years of age, says her name is LYDIA, that she belongs to WILLIAM SMITH, of Washington county, (Ken.) [sic] and was left in the care of a Mr. HUMBERSON, of Concordia. The owner of said wench is desired to come forward, prove his property, and taker her away. WM. COBLER.
