Runaways in Jail Was committed to the jail of Warren [illegible]ty, on the 12th of May, 1833, b[illegible]liam Mills, a justice of the peace in and [illegible] county, a negro man who calls himself REUBEN and says he is the property of WILLIAM NOB[illegible] Madison county, Mi.; he is about forty years [illegible] black complexion, 6 [sic] feet 3 inches high, on [illegible] hand, occasioned by the stab of a knife, throt [sic] [illegible] arm. The owner of said negro is requested [illegible] forward, prove property, pay charges, and ta[illegible] out of jail of he will be dealt with as the law [illegible]. MARTIN ANDING, J[illegible].
