Document Description

Runaways in Jail. Committed to the jail of Warren county, on the 2d day of December 1833, by William Mills, Judge of Probate in and for said county, a bright mulatto boy, who calls himself PEPPER and says he belongs to JOHN HARRISON of Point Chicot, Ark. [illegible]: he is about 20 years of age, very bright complexion, with [illegible] freckles about his face, he is 5 feet 11 inches high, stout and well made, had on rood clothing. The owner of said boy is requested to come forward prove property pay charges and take him out of jail or he will be dealt with as the law directs. MARTIN ANDING, Jailer.
