Fifty Dollars Reward. Ranaway from the plantation of the subscriber, six miles from Warrenton, on the night of the 30th December, Two Negro Men, one named JACOB, five feet ten or eleven inches high, 30 years of age, black, two or three raised scars across his breast; had on a pair of jeans pantaloons, new fur hat, cotton shirt, corduroy roundabout and a pair of russet brogan shoes. THORNTON about six feet high, 21 or 22 years of age, yellow complexion, had on a pair of grey cloth pantaloons—his other clothing was the same as Jacob’s. It is supposed they will try to make their way to Tennessee, as they were lately brought from that State. I will give the above reward for their apprehension and delivery to me, or for their confinement in any jail in this State, so that I get them again, or twenty-five dollars for either of them. J. S. ELLISON Warren county.
