Runaway Negro.—Taken up on the 30th of September, and put in the jail at Liberty, Amite County, said Negro….[sic] calls himself JOHN, is about 30 years of age, has lost two upper front teeth, has on a raccoon cap and Dutch blanket coat; says he left his master, JOHN COWIN, at Sekertown, who brought him from North-Carolina.
