Document Description

Ten Dollars Reward. Ran Away from the subscriber, a negro man named JACK, near 30 years of age, about 5 feet 10 inches high, has a scar under the left eye, thick ankles, walks a little lame, and generally wears a small brass chain round one leg—had on when he went away a cotton shirt and coarse Kentucky linen trousers; he was brought from Kentucky last Spring, and is trying to get back. Whoever will apprehend said negro, and secure him so that the subscriber may have him again, shall receive the above reward. CHARLES SURGET. Second Creek.
