Document Description

Was committed to the jail of Adams County, M. T. on the 23d of April, as a runaway, a mulatto man by the name of CHARLES DEE; he says he is free, and that he was brought up in Orleans, in the state of Louisiana—he is about five feet six inches high, 24 years old, is pitted by the small pock; no other mark perceivable.—The owner is requested to come forward according to law and take him away.
