University Libraries sponsors Open Access Week events in an effort to provide the The University of Southern Mississippi academic and research community with the opportunity to learn about the potential benefits of open access. Open Access Week is a global effort to promote the effort to make scholarly research accessible to all users free of charge.
These events are intended to further the conversation about what open access means for Southern Miss faculty, staff and students and will highlight some of the opportunities that it offers while also addressing questions and concerns.
