Swimming the Witch is an original book of poems, accompanied by an introduction. The poems engage both lyric and narrative modes to speak to the themes of judgment and the act of confession. The introduction addresses judgments in and against postconfessional poetry, specifically discussing the contemporary problematization of "I" and autobiography in poems.
