Community college goal attainment
The research was designed to determine the perception of institutional goal attainment among the board of trustees, administrators, faculty, staff, and a sample of students of a community college. The differences between the variables of academic division, academic major, years of service, age, and gender were also analyzed. Interaction between variables were also considered. A total of 275 subjects were involved in the study with the administrator group being the smallest and the student group being the largest of all groups. All of the subjects were associated with one community college. The study determined that there was a significant difference between the respondent groups on their perception of institutional goal attainment. A significant difference existed between the students' perception of institutional goal attainment according to the academic major of students. The faculty's perception of institutional goal attainment significantly differed according to academic division. Also, a significant interaction was found between gender and respondent groups on the criterion variable of perception of institutional goal attainment.
