Curriculum, Instruction, and Special Education
Computer games can foster learning and stimulate students. However, they also have the potential to interfere with academic development and harm students physically and emotionally. In this article, we discuss two perspectives on computer games: 1) how they can contribute to a healthy learning environment and 2) how they can cause problems that hurt students. We also identify the signs of computer game overuse and suggest ways to prevent it.
