Mobile Operating Systems such as Android provide a large level of customibility through popular add-ons called Apps. Various apps call for different systems resources to function. In this paper we investigate the various threats posed by authorizing specific system resource access and developed a classification matrix to identiy possible threats and their severity. This Matrix is simple, straightforward, and designed to communicate threat information to the end user. The The matrix will also provide an in depth analysis that takes into account not only individual that takes into account not only individual threats but also threat combinations.
