Description
In the spring of 2012, Dr. Creel and Dr. Welsh launched SLIS Connecting, an open access e-journal initially designed to highlight news and updates about the School of Library and Information Science at Southern Miss as well as scholarly papers by faculty and students. In the years since, the journal has found a global audience that includes article submissions from international researchers. Join us as Dr. Creel and Dr. Welsh discuss the process of creating the journal and directing its development, as well as the role that open access has played in the journal’s success.
