Aims & Scope

The purpose of the journal is to share news, information and research with LIS students, alumni, faculty, professionals, and scholars through selected faculty publications, invited student papers, student research papers, and through the following regular features:
  • SLIS Update
  • Faculty Spotlight, Alumni Spotlight, Course Spotlight
  • Student Associations News and Events: Bookfest, British Studies, etc.
  • From the GAs, Congratulations, Publications, and Presentations

All articles published by SLIS Connecting are made freely and permanently accessible online immediately upon publication, without subscription charges or registration barriers. Preservation of SLIS Connecting is managed by Bepress and includes stable URLs, quarterly backups, a robust infrastructure, and regularly scheduled maintenance.
