Building an institutional repository from the ground up can be daunting. "Pilot's Progress: Launching LSUS's Institutional Repository" will highlight the processes and insights through which Louisiana State University Shreveport constructed its IR. From our initial needs assessment to identifying the types of content that will be included in the repository, to selecting a suitable repository platform, to crafting policies, conducting outreach, and beyond, this presentation will share knowledge gained in our first year and invite conversation that will support library professionals in their institutional repository journeys.
