The Cadenhead Lectureship was founded by Col. Tyler Fletcher in honor of his late wife, Dr. Gerry Cadenhead. Dr. Cadenhead joined the USM nursing faculty in 1980 and served in various capacities including as dean from 1997 to 2001.
