Abstract
This presentation will discuss steps we have taken at the Nashville Public Library to celebrate diversity in children's literature. I will discuss our evaluation of current booklists and the creation of new lists. I will also show our Celebrating Racial Diversity Curriculum Kits, which include books as well as discussion questions for parents to engage with their children, and discuss our process of creating these kits.
