Abstract
The following is a collection of short fiction written from August 2020 to January 2022, when the author was a student at the Center for Writers at the University of Southern Mississippi. The pieces not only reflect on similar themes—the fragmented nature of memory, family and the loss of it, and isolation—but are also linked by a common cast of characters, all of which are members or associates of the collection’s titular band.
