Abstract
Science Courses for Integration and Enhancing New Curriculum in Education, a six-week summer program for high school students, veteran high school teachers, university professors, graduate students, and pre-service teachers, stimulates and promotes interest as well as learning in the content area of science through a unique combination of reading exercises and hands-on scientific discovery activities based on natural and synthetic polymers. Students are exposed to the relevancy of polymer science in their own lives through career fairs, research activities, and interaction with the local polymer industry.
